WHO ARE WE?
We are a makerspace! A makerspace is a business that functions like a gym, charging monthly subscriptions in exchange for using its tools. We primarily focus on tools for woodworking, welding, machining, 3d printing, and electronics equipment. We provide complete technical support, training, and some material supplies.

STARFORGE is the only makerspace in Bryan/College Station. We gather hardware builders and hands-on learners all in one place, providing all the classes and resources they need. We have lots of tools, space, money, support, and a community of builders and innovators. Our goal is for students (and general members of the public) to build cool projects and expand their skills.
S P A C E
Located near campus down Texas Avenue, we have a 3,000 sq. ft. shop with welding, machining, woodworking, electronics, and 3D printing tools accessible to all members. Featuring everything a maker could want, STARFORGE is purpose-built to be the ultimate mad scientist workshop where nothing is impossible. With us, your tools are no longer the limiting factor in what you can build.
What We Have
C O M M U N I T Y
Tired of communities of 'builders' who do nothing but talk? Us too. We set out on a journey to fundamentally change how things are built at Texas A&M. We built a makerspace because it was necessary. Now, we're busy building the community around it. We are the destination for the most talented and ambitious innovators and builders in town.

WE LIKE TO BUILD. We're very fond of it. No, really, it's great! It's pervasive. Our job here is not to restrict or tell you what to build but to help you build whatever you are working on. We have everything from Mars rovers, mall-style trains, to go-karts and robots. Our two favorite things to do together are build and hang out. It's what most people envision as an engineering school, not doing homework.

Honestly, just stop by sometime. It's an awesome place and we'll give you a tour anytime. You'll get to see all the goodies we're working on as well!
